Osimhen joins partial team training ahead of Galatasaray’s Kasımpaşa match

Victor Osimhen took part in a portion of Galatasaray’s team training on Tuesday, 6 October, before continuing with an individual programme prepared for him.

According to Galatasaray’s official training report, the session took place at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay facilities as the team continued preparations for its next Turkish league match.

The update confirms partial participation rather than completion of the full team session. It does not announce medical clearance or confirm that the Nigerian striker will feature against Kasımpaşa.

Other players follow separate programmes

Mario Lemina and goalkeeper Günay Güvenç trained with the squad throughout the session. Wilfried Singo and Roland Sallai worked separately from the group.

Turkish news agency DHA also reported those arrangements, including Osimhen’s combination of team and individual work.

Under head coach Okan Buruk, training included warm-up exercises, passing drills and possession work before finishing with a practice match. The report did not specify which parts Osimhen completed.

Punch’s report on Wednesday likewise described his involvement as partial team training.

Friday fixture approaches

Galatasaray’s official fixture announcement schedules the seventh-round Süper Lig match against Kasımpaşa for Friday, 9 October, at RAMS Park. Kick-off is listed for 8pm local time.

The club said preparations would continue with another session at 5pm on Wednesday.

For now, the confirmed development is Osimhen’s participation in part of Tuesday’s group work. His availability for Friday’s match remains unconfirmed in the club statement.
