Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha has announced the death of her father, Leonard Ndukaife Chukwuka, in apersonal Instagram tribute shared on Friday.
She said she had kept the news close while trying to process her grief. Her announcement did not give the date of his death, his age or the cause.
Remembering her father
Chukwuka-Akpotha said her mother died 13 years ago and described how painful it was to lose her remaining parent.
She was grateful that her father had lived to know his children and grandchildren, though the family had hoped he would also meet his great-grandchildren. She recalled the time they spent together, particularly near the end of his life, according toTheCable Lifestyle’s report on her tribute.

The actress asked people to keep her, her siblings and the wider Chukwuka family in their prayers. She said funeral details would be shared when the family was ready.
