Nigeria’s Oma Osele has been crowned Miss Continental World 2026 at the competition’s final in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
According to TheCable Lifestyle, the final took place on 9 October. India’s Shreeya Panda finished as first runner-up, while Thailand’s Pornpaya Rianju placed second runner-up.
The result was also reported outside Nigeria. The Philippine Entertainment Portal, known as PEP.ph, named Osele as the winner in its coverage of the Nigerian and Philippine contestants’ results.
Its report placed the competition in Ayutthaya on Friday and included a photograph identifying Osele as the titleholder, credited to Miss Continental World’s Facebook page.
Additional awards
Osele also received the Queen of Africa title, recognising the highest-placed African contestant, and the Best National Costume award for her cultural presentation, TheCable reported.
Voice of Nigeria described her as a 28-year-old medical laboratory scientist, entrepreneur and model from Lagos. She represented Nigeria after winning EliteGlam Pageant Nigeria 2025.
Before the final, she won the World Premiere Award in September after topping the global fan vote on Eventista’s 1Vote platform. This was a separate award from the overall competition title.
In a congratulatory statement reproduced by Naija TV, the EliteGlam Pageant Organisation thanked Osele for representing Nigeria and acknowledged the challenges encountered during preparations.
Nigeria also secured a placing in the men’s competition. Voice of Nigeria reported that Unwana Sambo Essien finished as third runner-up at Mister Continental World 2026 and received the King of Kings title and Best National Attire award.
