The NPFL’s official results confirm the 2-1 score and the venue, Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
The NPFL described Oke’s strike as the fastest goal of the 2026/27 season so far.
Sporting Lagos recover from early setback
The Nigerian Observer reported that Victor Samuel equalised in the 14th minute before Gafar Olaniyan scored the winner in the 22nd.
The home side held on to take all three points despite conceding inside the opening minute.
Oke scores again after Barau win
The Nigerian Observer noted that Oke had also scored twice in Bendel Insurance’s previous 4-1 victory over Barau FC. The striker’s early goal in Lagos was not enough to secure a second successive win.
